What This Work Is

People come to me certain of the cause. A rival, a curse, a mother-in-law. Sometimes they are right. Just as often the true cause is quieter: a grief that was never mourned, an inherited pattern, an attachment to someone long gone that leaves no room for anyone new.

A love diagnosis reads the energy of your situation and names what it finds. It shows what stands between you and the life you want, whether that obstacle is external, inherited or your own. It is the map that tells us which road, if any, is worth walking.

How the Work Unfolds

1. You tell me the situation and what you believe is causing it.
2. I read your energy and the energy of the connection in question.
3. I identify what is present: blocks, external influence, old attachments, patterns carried from your family.
4. I give you a plain account of what I saw and my recommendation — which may be that no ritual is needed.

What a Reading Actually Finds

Roughly a third of the readings I perform find nothing placed by another person. The obstacle is inherited: a pattern that has run through a family for three generations, in which the women marry men who leave, and everybody has quietly agreed that this is simply how life is.

Another third find an attachment that has never been ended. A first love, a marriage that finished on paper but not in fact, sometimes a person who has died and whose place in the client's life was never given up. Nothing new can occupy a space that is still full.

The remaining cases do find deliberate influence, and those are the ones the client usually suspected from the beginning. Being right about it is rarely as satisfying as they expected.

What to Expect

Clarity, and sometimes relief. Naming a thing takes much of its power. Many clients leave a diagnosis understanding a decade of their life differently.

You will also receive a recommendation, and it is sometimes unwelcome. I have told people that the relationship they are fighting for ended long ago, and that no ritual would change it.

How I Read a Situation

I work at a distance, as I always have. A name, a date of birth and a photograph carry everything I need; proximity adds nothing to a reading and never has.

I read the person first and the connection second, because clients frequently arrive convinced the trouble lies with somebody else. Then I tell you what I found, in plain language, without the vocabulary practitioners use to sound impressive.

If ritual work is warranted I will name which one and why. If it is not, I will say that too, and the reading will have been the whole of what you needed.

An Honest Word

I consider a diagnosis essential before any substantial ritual. Anyone willing to sell you a powerful working without first looking at your situation is selling you something other than magic.
